A New Year of Reading

So many things have been happening at the Mossman Library. Students have returned and I have enjoyed listening to their amazing summer reading stories. Here is a snapshot of the past couple of weeks.

  • 4th and 5th graders accepting a book challenge
  • Spending time with the new kindergarten students
  • Reading my new favorite book The Princess and the Pony to Kindergarten and 1st graders
  • Meeting with the summer book clubs
  • Getting reading to have Library Olympics for all of the summer readers

I am very excited about all of the possibilities that this school year will bring. Happy Reading!

What Should I Read Wednesday?

I LOVE magazines. They are quick reads and are often filled with different genres. Check out the new magazines that will be added to Mossman in August!

What Should I Read Wednesday?

A fractured fairy tale is a story that uses fairy tales you know and changes the characters, setting, points of view plots. Here are a few of my favorites...
The Three Ninja Pigs
Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs

Rump: The True Story of RumpelstiltskinCinderelephant

Harriet the Invincible (Hamster Princess, #1)

What Should I Read Wednesday?

Summer has begun and now is the time to read for pleasure. Rereading favorites is something fun to do. My go to favorites are always the Elephant and Piggie books. Start with the first book and finish with the last...you will not be disappointed!
